The process of manufacturing of these wool crib comforters does not involve harsh chemicals or synthetics. Wool’s ability to regulate temperature makes this comforter suitable both for colder and for warmer seasons. The research shows that if a child sleeps on or under wool he/she will fall asleep faster, will have more very important deep sleep and will wake up less often. Generous size: 40x54 in.

The shell is made of very soft smooth cotton that is gentle against the infant’s sensitive skin. No crinkle noise. Pure wool fill, no synthetic content. These toddler bed comforters contain about 2 lbs of wool. Fill power: 400 gsm (11.8 Oz/sq yard).
Temperature regulating. Wool comforters help regulate child’s body temperature. Wool makes a child’s body warmer in cold temperatures and cooler in warm temperatures. Due to this reason our wool crib comforters can be used all year round. They are good for hot sleepers.

Hypoallergenic. Crib wool comforters are suitable for infants that are allergic to polyester or other artificial fibers. Wool is dust mite resistant; dust mite feces are the the main cause of allergies. Our wool was sanitized with a non-toxic detergent. The wool batting is encased in a dense fabric that prevents shedding. The wool filling has not been treated with fire retardant or any harsh/toxic chemicals.
Antibacterial. Wool is naturally antibacterial and does not have to be washed as often.

Compared to goose down comforters, wool crib comforters have no poking/flying feathers, do not overheat and the filling does not shift like it does in down comforters. Unlike polyester down alternative bedding products, wool comforters are antistatic (have no electrical buildup and do not cling to the skin), lighter, temperature regulating, safer (wool is fire resistant) and do not harbor dust mites.
Care: Our toddler size comforters are machine washable but not machine dryable. Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Air dry or lay flat to dry in the sun or a warm place, can place towels underneath to soak up the water. Can be dry cleaned. Stains can be removed with soap & water. It is recommended to use wool filled comforters with a washable duvet cover for cleanliness, to protect from pet hair and extend the life of the comforter. It is easier to wash a duvet cover than a comforter. Unlike wool comforters, duvet covers can be tumble dried.
