Filler: 100% camel wool, no synthetic content. The camel wool comes from the two-humped Bactrian camels of Gobi desert (Mongolia). Camel wool comforters are super cozy because camel wool is lightweight (camel hair is hollow) yet warm. Camel wool is similar to alpaca wool, both species belong to the camelids family. Fill power: 400 gsm (11.8 Oz/sq yard). Total product weight: about 3 lbs.

Thermostatic properties of camel hair regulate temperature under all thermal conditions. Camel wool makes child’s body warmer in cold temperatures and cooler in warm temperatures. This is how Mongolian camels got adapted to extreme temperature fluctuations in the desert where the temperature ranges from 100 degrees in summer to minus 40 degrees in winter with snow atop dunes.

Care: Our camel wool comforters are machine washable but cannot be dried in a dryer. Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Air dry in the sun or a warm place by hanging or laying flat, can place towels underneath to soak up the water. Can be dry cleaned. It is recommended to use our toddler bed comforters with crib duvet covers to keep them clean, protect from pet hair and extend the life of your comforter. It is easier to wash a duvet cover than a wool comforter.
